Interesting Measuring

 In Te Ngahere we have been learning how to measure in centimetres. We made a castle by ruling in centimeters  and it was very hard and we only just finished it. I made it with my friends and we had a lot of fun and we got so sticky because we used glue. I enjoyed it because I was working with my friends. Do you enjoy maths?

Interesting Maths

 In Te Ngahere we have been learning about measurement in maths. Math is  amazing and fun. The math was called pounamu pendants and we counted 9 squares across and 15 squares down. Then we multiplied 9 by 15 and it equalled 135. It was very hard at the start but I  got the hang of doing the maths. Do you enjoy maths?

Incredible Inferencing

 In Te Ngahere we  have been learning about inferencing. Inferencing is show not tell it means that somebody shows you and not tells you. It was very hard for me and my friend.  We had so much fun while we were working on our inferencing. There were three questions that we answered.   We answered them together and we got it finished. I had fun and I  learnt something that I enjoyed learning. 

Crazy Tik Tok Dance

In Te Ngahere we have been learning two Tik Tok dances. We had to very amazing girls teaching us the Tik Toks. We had so much fun learning the Tik Tok dances. We also had to wiggle our bodies and our hips. I was scared to perform in front of the whole School. I loved it because I love to do Tik Tok. The Tik Tok dance looked fantastic and interesting. We were dancing to Savage love and another song.Have you ever done one of these tik toks?

Amazing Angles

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about angles and how to identify types of angles. We also had to measure the angles. There are so many angles that I can not explain but there is one angle that I learnt about it is called the right angle. The right angle is a 90 degree angle. It is so much fun because I got to work with my friend. It was hard to understand at the start so we had some help from the teacher. Will you try angles?

Amazing Art

We have been working hard on our poupou art. Pou are carvings that you can find in a whare. We have been having fun with the pou art. We have been using warm colours. Warm colours are like warm and fuzzy. Cool colours are like so cool that you will freeze. We also have been using complementary colours for our backgrounds. We had to use a blending technique so it gives it all the 3D look. I had a lot of fun when we got told that we could do art.

Amazing Factions

We have been learning about fractions, Ayanda and I love to do fractions. I can do fractions for the whole day. In my screencastify I am going to teach you about the numerator, the denominator and how to solve a fraction question. The work was hard at the start and then we got help with the fractions and I had fun. Do you like to learn about fractions ?
