The Amazing Holidays
The two weeks off of school I have been going fishing. I went diving for kinas and puwā. I like going with my papa and his mates because my papa lets me jump off the boat into the water. I love to jump on my tramp and swimming at the beach. When I go to the beach I like to go with my sister and my cousins. I was jumping off the bridge in Waitangi. When I was jumping off I was startled and frightened because it is like 9.5 foot. Would you jump off Waitangi bridge?

Interesting Measuring
In Te Ngahere we have been learning how to measure in centimetres. We made a castle by ruling in centimeters and it was very hard and we only just finished it. I made it with my friends and we had a lot of fun and we got so sticky because we used glue. I enjoyed it because I was working with my friends. Do you enjoy maths?

Interesting Maths
In Te Ngahere we have been learning about measurement in maths. Math is amazing and fun. The math was called pounamu pendants and we counted 9 squares across and 15 squares down. Then we multiplied 9 by 15 and it equalled 135. It was very hard at the start but I got the hang of doing the maths. Do you enjoy maths?
