Action World

Yesterday I went to Action World. The first thing that the girls did was the water slide. We had an hour on the water slide. When we finished we did anything  we wanted to do. So the first one that I did was the Tarzan bars. When I finished, I went to the big trapeze. On the way there we were getting blown onto the road and it gets worse. On the way back to school there was sand from the beach hitting us.

In the last weeks we have been learning how plants grow . I have done an animation. It was fun we got to plant them. Learned that plants need water, soil and sunlight.

maker space

Last week on Thursday, we were doing maker a space and for maker a space we were learning about electricity. My group has done something with lemons, light bulb, alligator clips, coins and then we made a cut in the lemons so we can put the coins in the lemons. Then we put the alligator clips on the coins and we made a circle and then we bent the one part of the LED and we put the bent part going in the hole and the staight part of the LED and it made the little light go.

Make A Space

On Friday we had a Junior MasterChef competition and it was my birthday. We got our ingredients then we put on some butter and we put on all of the vegetables from our garden. First we put the seedlings the soil. second we put some water on the plant. Third we let it get some sun. then the roots start to grow and then the plant grow.

Today we had an Author come to our school and tell us about some of the books that she has been waiting for the children.Te Maunga and Te Ngahere went to meet her. Her name is Adele she had been working for a company.
